Annie Chapman

Annie Chapman was a victim of the infamous Jack the Ripper, who murdered women in London's East End during 1888. She was a 47-year-old prostitute who led a difficult life marked by poverty and hardship. On September 8, 1888, she was attacked and murdered in Whitechapel. Her killing drew widespread media attention and helped shape the historic investigation into Jack the Ripper. Chapman’s case remains one of the most well-known among the series of unsolved murders attributed to the Ripper.
