Annex A (prohibition of production and use)

Annex A of the chemical weapon conventions lists chemicals and equipment that are prohibited for production, use, or stockpiling, as they can be used to develop chemical weapons. This includes certain toxic chemicals and their precursors, as well as equipment intended for chemical weapon production. The aim is to prevent the creation and spread of chemical weapons by restricting access to these dangerous substances and tools. Countries that are part of the agreement agree to enforce these prohibitions to promote safety and deter chemical warfare.
