Ankylosaurus
Ankylosaurus was a large, armored dinosaur that lived about 70–66 million years ago during the Late Cretaceous period. Known for its heavily armored body covered with bony plates and ridges, it had a distinctive club-like tail used for defense against predators. Its low-slung, herbivorous nature meant it grazed on plants, using beak-like mouths to strip vegetation. Ankylosaurus was approximately 20–26 feet long and weighed several tons, making it a formidable presence in its prehistoric environment. Its thick armor and powerful tail helped it survive in a world filled with large carnivorous dinosaurs.
