Anistia (Amnesty)
Anistia, or amnesty, is an official act by a government that forgives or pardons individuals or groups for certain crimes, often political, and typically restores their rights. It is commonly used to promote national reconciliation, encourage peace, or resolve conflicts. Unlike regular forgiveness, amnesty is granted through a formal legal process and often applies to specific offenses or circumstances. It does not necessarily mean the individuals have admitted guilt but indicates the government’s decision to overlook their actions and allow them to reintegrate into society without criminal repercussions.
