Anionic surfactants

Anionic surfactants are cleaning agents widely used in products like laundry detergents, shampoos, and dish soaps. They consist of molecules with a negatively charged (anionic) head that attracts dirt, oil, and grease, and a tail that dissolves in water. This structure allows them to break down and remove stubborn grime by surrounding it and helping it wash away. Because of their effective cleaning power, they are especially good at removing greasy stains but may sometimes be harsh on sensitive skin or hair. They are a common choice for achieving thorough cleaning in many household and industrial applications.
