Animal Tissue
Animal tissue is a group of similar cells working together to perform specific functions in the body. There are four main types: muscle tissue (which helps in movement), nerve tissue (which transmits signals), connective tissue (which supports and binds other tissues), and epithelial tissue (which covers and protects surfaces). Each type has a unique structure suited to its role, enabling the body to carry out complex activities like movement, coordination, and protection efficiently. Simply put, tissues are the building blocks that make up organs and systems in animals, allowing them to function properly.
