Animal cells

Animal cells are the basic building blocks of living organisms like humans and other animals. They are microscopic structures made up of various parts, each with specific functions. The cell membrane surrounds the cell, controlling what enters and exits. Inside, the nucleus acts as the control center, containing genetic material (DNA). The cytoplasm is a gel-like fluid that holds other organelles, such as mitochondria, which generate energy, and the endoplasmic reticulum, which produces proteins. Animal cells also contain ribosomes for protein synthesis and other specialized structures, enabling them to grow, reproduce, and carry out the life processes necessary for survival.
