Angstrom
An Angstrom is a unit of length used primarily to measure extremely small distances, such as atoms and molecules. It equals one ten-billionth of a meter (10^-10 meters), which is about the size of an individual atom. To give perspective, a human hair is roughly 1 million Angstroms wide. The Angstrom helps scientists describe and study microscopic structures in fields like chemistry, physics, and materials science with precision, especially when dealing with distances much smaller than what a typical ruler can measure.
