Angle bisector

An angle bisector is a line or ray that divides an angle into two equal parts. Imagine drawing a line from the vertex of an angle so that it splits the angle exactly in half, creating two smaller angles that are mirror images of each other. This line maintains the same distance from both sides of the original angle at every point along its length. Angle bisectors are useful in geometry for constructing equal angles, solving problems involving symmetry, and finding the center point where multiple angle bisectors intersect, known as the incenter of a triangle.
