Anergic T-cells
Anergic T-cells are immune cells that have become inactive or unresponsive after recognizing a threat, such as a virus or bacteria. Normally, T-cells help the body fight infections by attacking harmful invaders. However, in some cases, they enter a state called "anergy," where they ignore the threat even if it's present. This process helps prevent the immune system from overreacting and attacking the body's own tissues, which can lead to autoimmune diseases. Essentially, anergic T-cells are like immune cells that have "shut down" their attack mode to maintain balance and prevent harm to the body.
