Andronikos I Komnenos

Andronikos I Komnenos was a Byzantine Emperor who ruled from 1183 to 1185. He belonged to the Komnenos dynasty and was known for his ambitious and controversial reign. He sought to reform the Byzantine Empire and restore its former glory, but his rule was marked by instability, including conflicts with the nobility and the populace. He was ultimately overthrown and killed during a popular uprising.
