Andronicus of Rhodes

Andronicus of Rhodes was an ancient Greek philosopher and mathematician who lived around the 1st century BCE. He is best known for creating an important edition of Euclid’s "Elements," a foundational work in geometry. His version helped standardize the text and made it more accessible, influencing how geometry was taught for centuries. Andronicus also contributed to the study of logic and mathematics, helping to preserve and clarify classical knowledge during a period when much ancient literature was at risk of being lost.
