Andrew Jackson Davis
Andrew Jackson Davis (1826–1910) was an influential 19th-century American spiritualist and clairvoyant. He was known for claiming to have extrasensory perception, allowing him to see beyond the physical realm. Davis believed in the interconnectedness of the universe and promoted ideas about spiritual growth, reincarnation, and the development of human potential. His writings and teachings combined elements of mysticism and spiritualism, and he was considered a prominent figure in the occult and new thought movements of his time. Despite skepticism, his work contributed to the larger spiritualist movement in the United States during the 19th century.
