Andranik Ozanyan

Andranik Ozanyan was a prominent Armenian military leader and revolutionary born in 1872. He played a key role in the struggle for Armenian national independence and self-defense during the late Ottoman Empire and early 20th century. Known for his leadership in guerrilla warfare, he fought against Ottoman authorities to protect Armenian communities, especially during the Armenian Genocide. Ozanyan is celebrated as a national hero for his dedication to Armenian causes and his efforts to secure safety and recognition for his people. He died in 1915, but his legacy remains influential in Armenian history and patriotism.
