Andragogik
Andragogik, or adult learning theory, focuses on how adults learn differently from children. It emphasizes that adults are self-directed, bring prior experiences to learning, and are motivated by real-world needs and goals. Unlike traditional education, which often relies on passive reception, andragogik encourages active participation, problem-solving, and applying knowledge to practical situations. It recognizes that adult learners prefer to shape their learning process and benefit from a relevant, respectful, and collaborative environment. In essence, andragogik aims to create effective, engaging learning experiences tailored to adults’ unique ways of understanding and evolving.
