Ancient diet

Ancient diets primarily consisted of foods that early humans could hunt, gather, or grow, such as meats, fish, fruits, vegetables, nuts, and seeds. Their eating habits varied based on geographic location, climate, and available resources. Without modern agriculture, early diets were often seasonal and relied heavily on wild foods. Over time, as farming developed, societies began cultivating grains like wheat and barley, and domesticating animals for meat and dairy. These diets were generally whole, minimally processed, and rich in natural nutrients, providing the foundation for human nutrition long before the advent of modern processed foods.
