Anaphylactic Shock Protocol

Anaphylactic shock protocol involves promptly recognizing severe allergy symptoms like difficulty breathing, swelling, and dizziness. Immediately call emergency services. If the person has an epinephrine auto-injector (EpiPen), administer it into the thigh following instructions. Lay the person down with legs elevated if possible, to help blood flow, and keep them warm. Do not give them food or drink. Monitor their breathing and pulse until professional help arrives. This rapid response can prevent serious complications or death from a severe allergic reaction.
