Analog vs Digital

Analog and digital are two ways of representing information. Analog signals are continuous, meaning they change smoothly and can take on any value within a range—like a traditional clock's hands moving gradually. Digital signals, however, represent information using discrete numbers or states, typically zeros and ones, like a digital clock showing exact numbers. Analog provides a more natural and detailed representation, but can be more susceptible to noise and distortion. Digital is more precise and easier to store or transmit reliably, making it the dominant method in modern electronics.
