Analog Multiplexer

An analog multiplexer is a device that allows multiple continuous (analog) signals to share a single channel or pathway. Think of it as a switch that selects one signal from several options to send through at any given time. It’s useful in systems where different sensor outputs, audio signals, or other analog data need to be processed or analyzed using fewer wires or components. The multiplexer rapidly switches between signals, making it appear as if they are happening simultaneously, simplifying the design and saving space in electronic systems.
