Analog modulation
Analog modulation is a method of transmitting information by modifying a continuous carrier signal—like a radio wave—to encode the message. This involves altering one or more properties of the carrier, such as its amplitude (amplitude modulation), frequency (frequency modulation), or phase (phase modulation), in proportion to the original sound or data signal. These changes allow the information to travel over distances through the air or cables and be recovered at the receiver end. It’s a fundamental technique used in radio broadcasting, television, and communications systems to effectively send audio, video, and data signals.
