American School of Osteopathy

The American School of Osteopathy, now known as A.T. Still University, was founded in 1892 by Dr. Andrew Taylor Still. It is one of the earliest institutions dedicated to osteopathic medicine, a holistic approach that emphasizes the body's self-healing ability and the importance of musculoskeletal health. The school trains osteopathic physicians (DOs) who focus on manual therapy, preventive care, and treating various health conditions by addressing structural and functional issues.
