American Music Center

The American Music Center (AMC) was a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting contemporary American music. It served as a resource hub for composers, performers, and music organizations, providing access to funding, research, and networking opportunities. AMC also organized festivals, presentations, and educational programs to promote innovation and diversity in American music. Its goal was to sustain and advance the creation and appreciation of new musical works across genres, fostering a vibrant and inclusive musical landscape. The organization merged with New Music USA in 2011 to continue its mission under a new entity.
