American Morse Code
American Morse Code is a version of Morse code used primarily in the United States from the 19th to early 20th centuries for maritime and telegraph communication. It consists of brief signals called dots and longer signals called dashes to represent letters and numbers. Unlike the internationally standardized Morse code, American Morse uses a different set of patterns for some characters, often with more complex spacing and timing. It was designed for quick, efficient transmission over telegraph lines and radio, enabling reliable long-distance communication before digital systems replaced it.
