American Football Conference
The American Football Conference (AFC) is one of two main divisions in the National Football League (NFL). It comprises 16 teams grouped into four divisions (North, South, East, West). Teams compete during the regular season, and top performers advance to the playoffs. The AFC champions face the NFC champions in the Super Bowl, the league’s championship game. The AFC has a rich history of competitive teams and legendary players, and its structure helps organize the league's annual competition into manageable segments leading to the ultimate championship.
