Amado Carrillo Fuentes was a notorious Mexican drug lord, known as "El Señor de los Cielos" (The Lord of the Skies), due to his extensive use of aircraft to smuggle large quantities of cocaine from Colombia to Mexico and the United States. He headed the Juárez Cartel and became one of the most powerful and wealthy drug traffickers in the 1980s and 1990s. His operations involved sophisticated transportation and extensive networks, making him a key figure in the global drug trade. Carrillo Fuentes’s influence ended when he died in 1997 after undergoing plastic surgery to change his appearance.
