AM stereo receivers

AM stereo receivers are devices that can pick up AM radio broadcasts transmitted in stereo sound, providing a more immersive listening experience. Traditional AM radios deliver mono sound, but AM stereo transmits two channels (left and right), creating a sense of direction and space. These receivers detect specific stereo signals embedded within the AM broadcast, allowing listeners to hear stereo sound where it's available. Although less common now, AM stereo enhances audio quality for talk, music, and sports broadcasts, making the listening experience richer without requiring significant changes to existing AM radio infrastructure.
