Alternative Economic Systems
Alternative economic systems are different ways societies organize the production and distribution of goods and services. Unlike capitalism, which emphasizes private ownership and profit, or socialism, which focuses on collective ownership and equality, other systems include communism, where the government controls all resources, and mixed economies, which combine elements of both private and public control. These systems reflect different values and goals, such as efficiency, equality, or sustainability, and influence how wealth is created, shared, and managed within a society.
