Allison Krause
Allison Krause was a young student who tragically lost her life during the Kent State shootings in 1970, when Ohio National Guard troops fired on protesting students. She was 19 years old and attending Kent State University, where she was involved in anti-war demonstrations against the Vietnam War. Her death, along with three others, drew national attention to the tensions between government authorities and young protesters, fueling the anti-war movement and prompting calls for greater government accountability and peace efforts.
