
Alfred, Duke of Luxembourg
Alfred, Duke of Luxembourg (1866–1934), was a member of Luxembourg’s royal family. He was the younger brother of Grand Duke William IV. Although he held the title of Duke of Luxembourg, he was not in the line of succession to the throne. Known for his military career and diplomatic service, Alfred played roles in European affairs during a turbulent period that included World War I. His contributions helped strengthen Luxembourg’s international relations and stability during his lifetime.
