Alexis Romanov (Tsarovich)

Alexis Romanov was the only son of Tsar Nicholas II of Russia and Tsarina Alexandra. Born in 1904, he was the heir to the Russian throne. Alexis suffered from hemophilia, a rare blood disorder, which greatly impacted his health and the royal family's dynamics. His condition contributed to the family's reliance on Grigori Rasputin, a controversial figure believed to have healing powers. Alexis' childhood was marked by the turmoil of early 20th-century Russia, culminating in the Russian Revolution. He was executed with his family by Bolsheviks in 1918, marking the end of the Romanov dynasty's rule in Russia.
