Alexander Kolchak
Alexander Kolchak was a Russian naval officer and leader during the Russian Civil War (1917–1923). After the Bolsheviks (Communists) seized power, he became the leader of the anti-Bolshevik White forces in Siberia, aiming to restore a more traditional government. Known as the "Supreme Ruler," Kolchak aimed to oppose the Bolsheviks’ communist rule through military action. His efforts were part of the larger struggle between the Red Army (Bolsheviks) and White forces. Ultimately, he was captured and executed by Soviet authorities in 1920, symbolizing the defeat of the anti-communist opposition in the Russian Civil War.
