Aleuts

The Aleuts are Indigenous people native to the Aleutian Islands, part of Alaska, and the western coast of Alaska. They have a rich cultural heritage rooted in hunting, fishing, and seafaring traditions, primarily relying on marine life such as seals, sea otters, and fish. Historically, the Aleuts lived in semi-subterranean dwellings called semi-subterranean houses and used tools made from available materials like bone and stone. Today, they continue to preserve their language, culture, and traditions while also engaging in modern lifestyles.
