Alenia Aermacchi

Alenia Aermacchi was an Italian aerospace company specializing in the design and manufacturing of military and training aircraft. It was formed through the merger of several Italian aerospace firms and became part of Leonardo, a global defense and aerospace group. The company produced well-known aircraft such as the M-346 advanced trainer and contributed to military, commercial, and defense projects worldwide. Alenia Aermacchi's expertise included aircraft development, production, and maintenance, making it a key player in Italy’s aerospace industry. In 2016, it was fully integrated into Leonardo, consolidating Italy’s aerospace capabilities under one organization.
