ALCS

ALCS, or the American League Championship Series, is an annual playoff round in Major League Baseball that determines which American League team advances to the World Series. Typically played in October, it features the two top teams from the American League competing in a best-of-seven series. The team that wins four games first earns the right to represent the league in the championship against the National League winner. The ALCS is known for intense competition, high stakes, and showcasing some of the sport’s best talent and strategic play.
