Alcohol Measurement

Alcohol measurement refers to the way we quantify the amount of alcohol in a beverage or the alcohol content in a person's bloodstream. The most common unit is the percentage of alcohol by volume (ABV), which indicates how much of the drink is pure alcohol. For example, a wine with 12% ABV contains 12% pure alcohol. Blood alcohol concentration (BAC) measures how much alcohol is in a person's blood, often used to determine intoxication levels. BAC is typically expressed as a percentage, like 0.08%, which is a legal limit for driving in many regions.
