Albrook Field

Albrook Field was a major military airbase located in Panama, built during World War II. It served as a crucial hub for U.S. military operations in Central America and the Caribbean, with extensive runways and facilities for aircraft, logistics, and personnel. After the U.S. military departure in 1999, the site transitioned into a civilian airport and urban area, now known as Albrook Mall and the surrounding district. The former airbase played a key role in military history and has since been repurposed for civilian use, blending historical significance with modern development.
