Albertian perspective

Albertian perspective, also known as linear perspective, is a technique developed by the Italian artist and mathematician Leonardo da Vinci inspired by the work of the mathematician Alberti. It allows artists to create a realistic sense of depth and space on a flat surface by using a horizon line and converging lines that lead to a single point called the vanishing point. This method mimics how our eyes perceive the world, making two-dimensional images appear three-dimensional and proportionally correct. It revolutionized art by providing a systematic way to depict spatial relationships accurately.
