Albanian Orthodox Church

The Albanian Orthodox Church is an autocephalous Eastern Orthodox Christian church, primarily serving ethnic Albanians in Albania and abroad. It follows Orthodox Christian traditions, liturgy, and doctrine, emphasizing continuity with the historic Byzantine church. Established in its current form in the 20th century, it plays a central role in religious, cultural, and national identity for many Albanians.
