Alan Turing's test
The Turing Test, proposed by Alan Turing, evaluates a machine's ability to exhibit human-like intelligence. In this test, a human interacts with both a machine and another person without knowing which is which. If the human cannot reliably distinguish the machine from the person based on their responses, the machine is considered to have passed the test, demonstrating it can mimic human thinking and conversation effectively. The test focuses on indistinguishability in communication rather than understanding or consciousness.
