Al-Zahir Ghazi

Al-Zahir Ghazi was a 12th-century Muslim ruler who established the Ayyubid dynasty in northern Syria. He was the son of Saladin, the famous Muslim leader, and reigned from 1193 to 1216. Ghazi focused on strengthening his territories, building cities, and defending against Crusaders and rival Muslim factions. His leadership helped maintain stability in the region during a period of ongoing conflict between Muslims and European Crusaders. Overall, he played a key role in consolidating Muslim power in northern Syria following his father’s legacy.
