Al-Wasiyyat
Al-Wasiyyat refers to a will or testament in Islamic law, which is a legal document expressing a person's wishes regarding the distribution of their estate after death. It allows individuals to specify how their assets should be divided among heirs or beneficiaries, within certain limits set by Islamic principles (such as not exceeding one-third of the estate unless all heirs agree). The purpose of Al-Wasiyyat is to ensure that a person's final wishes are respected and that their estate is distributed fairly and in accordance with Islamic teachings, providing clarity and justice for all involved.
