Al-Mahdi (Imam)

Al-Mahdi is believed by Muslims, especially Sunnis and certain Shia groups, to be a future righteous leader who will appear before the end of the world. He is seen as a messianic figure who will restore justice, guide people to true faith, and eliminate corruption and injustice. In Sunni tradition, Al-Mahdi is a hidden and virtuous leader who will appear during times of chaos. In Shia belief, particularly among Twelvers, he is the awaited Twelfth Imam, currently in occultation, who will return to bring peace. Al-Mahdi's arrival signifies hope for moral renewal and divine justice in Islamic eschatology.
