Al-Hanbali

Al-Hanbali refers to one of the four main Islamic legal schools (madhhab), founded by Imam Ahmad ibn Hanbal in the 9th century. It emphasizes adherence to the Qur'an and Hadith (sayings of the Prophet Muhammad) as primary sources of Islamic law. The Hanbali school is known for its conservative approach, favoring literal interpretation when clear guidance is available, and placing less emphasis on consensus or reasoning compared to other schools. It is predominantly followed in Saudi Arabia and parts of the Arabian Peninsula, providing a framework for religious practice and legal matters within those communities.
