Al amorphous materials
Amorphous materials are substances whose atoms lack a regular, repeating arrangement, unlike crystals. Think of them as having a jumbled or disordered structure, similar to glass or gels. This irregularity gives amorphous materials unique properties, such as transparency, flexibility, and different strength characteristics compared to crystalline solids. Because their atoms are not organized in a strict pattern, amorphous materials often behave differently under heat and stress. Examples include glass, certain plastics, and some metals in a non-crystalline state, making them useful in a wide range of applications from windows to electronics.
