
Akbar Khan
Akbar Khan was a prominent 19th-century Indian military leader and diplomat, known for his role during the First Anglo-Afghan War (1839-1842). He was the son of the famous Afghan leader Dost Mohammad Khan and initially served as a diplomat and military officer. Akbar Khan became a key figure in resisting British influence in Afghanistan, leading efforts to defend Afghan sovereignty. Despite his efforts, the British eventually retook control, and his actions significantly impacted Afghan resistance history.
