Airway Devices
Airway devices are tools used by healthcare providers to help a person breathe when they cannot do so effectively on their own. These include endotracheal tubes inserted into the windpipe to ensure a clear airway during surgery or emergencies, laryngeal mask airways that sit above the vocal cords, and masks that cover the nose and mouth to deliver oxygen. Their purpose is to maintain open airways, deliver oxygen, and ensure proper ventilation, especially during medical procedures or in critical situations where normal breathing is compromised.
