Airborne School

Airborne School is a military training program for soldiers that teaches them how to safely jump from airplanes and land using parachutes. Conducted by the U.S. Army, the course typically lasts three weeks and includes various phases, such as ground training and actual jumps from a plane. Successful participants earn the distinctive parachutist badge, known as "jump wings." This training allows soldiers to deploy quickly from the air and is essential for units that operate airborne operations, contributing to enhanced mobility and strategic capabilities on the battlefield.
