Airborne SAR

Airborne Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) is a remote sensing technology mounted on aircraft that uses radar signals to create detailed images of Earth's surface. Unlike traditional optical cameras, SAR can operate in any weather condition and through cloud cover by emitting radio waves and analyzing the reflected signals. As the aircraft moves, it captures data from multiple angles, which are processed to produce high-resolution, three-dimensional images. This technology is valuable for mapping, environmental monitoring, disaster assessment, and surveillance, providing reliable surface imagery regardless of weather or lighting conditions.
