Air Traffic Controllers
Air traffic controllers are trained professionals responsible for managing the safe and efficient movement of aircraft within controlled airspace and on the ground at airports. They coordinate takeoffs, landings, and in-flight routes, using radar, radios, and other technology to monitor aircraft positions. Their primary goal is to prevent collisions, provide weather and navigation information, and ensure timely operations. Controllers work in specialized facilities called control towers, approach/departure sectors, and en-route centers, often working under high pressure. Their expertise ensures that thousands of flights each day reach their destinations safely and efficiently.
