Air Reserve Component
The Air Reserve Component (ARC) is a part of the U.S. Air Force that includes trained reservists and National Guard members who can be called upon to support active-duty forces during emergencies, wars, or national needs. These personnel usually have civilian jobs but maintain their military skills through regular training. The ARC provides additional airpower and expertise when required, serving as a vital reserve force that enhances the overall capability and readiness of the Air Force without being on active duty full-time.
